Wearing Mens Suits to Work - The Right Way

If you are in the position where you need to wear Mens Suits to work on regular or somewhat regular basis, there may be a more than likely chance that you are not maximizing your mens suit wearing potential. What am I talking about, you ask? The simple fact is most men who wear mens business suits on a regular basis don't wear them the way they should be worn. How is a suit supposed to be worn you ask? The answer will be a Zen like moment. The way you should wear your business attire is with Pride. Yes, pride. Whenever you are wearing your suits, you need to make sure first of all that your suit actually fits you properly. I can't tell you how many times I see men wearing a suit that just don't fit right. They usually are either too tight fitting where you actually see their love handles bulging out or they are too loose with the shoulders of the jacket sagging off the shoulders.

So, if you're in a job where you're going to be wearing suits on a regular basis, please make sure that you are wearing your correct size and that the suit coat fits properly. You also are not trying to make a style statement, so don't come into work wearing any gangster suits that you saw in a movie. Make sure that the collar part of the lapels hug your neck and that the suit fits you to a Tee. Have a professional tailor measure your inseam and hem your pants. I see so many people wearing pants that are either way too long and drag on the ground or they are too short and ride up when they are walking. Your pants should never show your socks when you are walking.

Once you have your properly fitting suits in your wardrobe, make sure you take good care of them. Get your suits cleaned only after several wearings unless they get soiled and in between wearings make sure you keep them wrinkle free by steaming them yourself. Buy yourself a garment steamer for $40-50 from your local department store and keep those fine suits of yours looking their best before you put them on again. When the seasons change, make sure your suits for work that are not being used are kept in your closet with proper covers on them so moths don't snack on your expensive wardrobe. Let them snack elsewhere but not on your pricey wardrobe. With a bit or care and plenty of pride you will look like a million bucks every time you get dressed for work.
