One of the best things about wearing suits is the huge number of options available out there. There is simply no need to just pigeonhole yourself to wearing on particular type of suit or even color. Many men though overwhelmingly wear only 2 piece style suits because in their minds it seems to be the safest bet available. With 3 piece suits, you have other options that can't be done with a suit that only comes with a jacket and pants alone. When you are wearing a vested style suit, you are able to walk around with your jacket unbuttoned, but because you are wearing the vest underneath you are every bit as dressed as you would be if the jacket was buttoned up. Mens suits with vests offer so many options. Can't do that with a suit that has only two pieces. If you're standing, the proper thing to do is button that jacket with the lowest button left undone. Sit down if you wish to unbutton the jacket. Plus, they look great when worn with gangster hats.

With three piece suits you are free to wear the jacket how you wish because as stated before the vest you are wearing stays buttoned and you are not showing off your shirt. Plus wearing the vest has a slightly more regal look than your standard no vest style. The vest gives it a more finished look. So, when you're ready to step out a little, give 3 piece suits a try.
