The body on a slim fit suit is first of all tighter fitting than a regular fit suit jacket. A slim fit suit should pretty much fit like a glove. The jacket will also be about an inch to an inch and half shorter in the torso for a slim fit suit. A proper fitting slim fit suit will sit just above the crotch where on a regular fit suit, it will cover the crotch. The sleeves are also tighter fitting as well on a slim fit suit with the arm holes on the jacket rising up higher as well. You will also find narrow style lapels on a slim fit suit compared to your regular fit style suit all in keeping the slim fit look. The pants that you will find on Slim Fit Suits are also different as well. They will be tighter fitting and taper down to the ankle whereas a regular fit suit doesn't do that at all. The waist will also be lower too. These features all give the slim fit style suit a different look.
